ABOUT ME

I am a Research Scientist in Chemical Engineering field who is passionate about food, travel, and health. My current research is about crystallization in the pharmaceutical area. I write and review scientific journals. I am currently working in a research institute in Singapore, but my home country is Indonesia. Aside from work, I love to bake and sometimes cooking as well. I usually gather information from various recipes that I found online, then do some trials in my kitchen to modify the recipes into a healthy version. My baking hobby started when I was doing my graduate studies in the states. Whenever I got frustrated with my research, I would enter my kitchen and vent my frustration there. Surprisingly, it turned out to be my hobby.

Besides baking and cooking, I also love to travel. My travel purposes could be for a family holiday, an adventurous vacation with friends, food hunting vacation, business trip, spiritual vacation, or any combination of them. So far, I have traveled to US, UK, Australia, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, Korea, Hong Kong, Macao, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Japan, France.

In this blog, I will share with you my baking and cooking recipes and tips to succeed in baking. In addition to that, I would share with you some secrets to stay healthy. However, I should tell you that I am not a certified dietitian, nor a medical doctor. Therefore, all the health information that you read from this blog is based on my own experience, analysis, and research that I have done through reading scientific journals, websites or books.
For travel section, you will find some tips about 'Must See Places', 'Must Try Food', 'Hotel', and 'Transport' from different places that I have visited before.
